After the success of last season which saw them qualify a crew for Henley Royal Regatta for the first time in a decade the Senior Men are keen to recruit new members to the squad for 2023/24.

Highlights include entries in the Veteran Fours Head on the Tideway in November, two Eights at Rutherford Head in December, victories in coxless quads and fours at Durham Small Boats Head, and two Eights at Tyne Head in February, before sending two Eights to the Tideway for the Head of the River Race in March, the first time DARC had entered two crews for HoRR in nearly twenty years!
The regatta season saw the squad achieve victories at Durham City Coronation Regatta, Tees and Hexham Regattas, then a win in the Eight and Championship coxless four at Durham Regatta in June, before Marlow Regatta and DARC’s first qualifications for Henley Royal Regatta in 11 years.
