Another weekend of divided loyalties saw some squads making the short trip to Tees Regatta on May 13th while others went further afield to the National Watersports Centre at Holme Pierrepont for Nottingham City Regatta on May 13th and Nottingham Masters and Club Regatta on May 14th.
Racing at Tees took place over the 800 metre buoyed course between the Tees Barrage and the River Tees Watersports Centre while Nottingham offered 6-lane racing over 2000 metres on Saturday and 1000 metres for Masters on Sunday.
Durham ARC picked up 13 victories from their 25 entries on the Tees, the wins coming from –

On Saturday in Nottingham City Regatta the Women’s Intermediate 2x finished 5th in heat 2 in a time of 8.47.08 which took them into the B final later in the day where they took 3rd place (9th overall) in 8.41.8.
The Women’s 4- were 4th in heat 2 in 8.08.75 and went into the B final where they placed 2nd (8th overall) in 7.56.6.

The Women’s 4x- went into the final of their event and finished 3rd of the 4 entries in 7.31.5.
On Sunday two composite crews contested the Nottingham Masters and Club Regatta, the Hexham/Durham pairing taking 4th place in the MasE 4x- final in 3:43.8, while the Tyne ARC/Hexham/Durham/QEHS MasE 8+ combination was 4th in 3:47.8 in the MasEFG 8+ final.
