Geoff strikes gold, and Gill breaks her own world record
Our indoor rowing masters had a successful weekend at the Irish Indoors on the 2nd and 3rd March 2013. Roger Stainforth won silver (men 60-69) , Helen McMillan bronze (women 40-49) ,Geoff Graham gold (men 70+) and Gill Prescott (women 50-59) gold. Helen got a silver in her 500m (women 40-59) and Gill won gold in the Women’s Open 500m…….showing the younger ones how it’s done. In fact Gill broke her own World record in the 2k by 0.9s, 7 20.2 which was the fastest 2k by any woman on the day.
